Last Thursday two of my favorite bands at the moment, Vivian Girls and Best Coast, played at Holocene and played a great show to a full house. Even though I’m familiar with both bands music it still struck me at how many hits they both have, there is literally not a dull moment, every song is fun and catchy. The environment was fun, probably not as rowdy as the bands are used to, but more excited than a usual Portland audience. Above are a couple of shots I took with my digital camera, and then a couple outtakes from my other cameras, the rest of the photos will be in issue 02 of Letter to Jane Magazine along with interviews from Vivian Girls and Best Coast.
